I am a freelance musician / sound designer, performing and releasing music under the name Sleepsang. I graduated with a Sonic Arts MA from The University of Sheffield in 2015. I developed the music & arts offering at Sheffield’s award winning Foodhall Project, culminating in delivering an Arts Council funded exhibition series: “Social Sculpture” for the Foodhall Lates Gallery in 2019.

Since, I’ve worked on music, collaborations and commercial audio projects. My music combines an electroacoustic approach with creative / live coding: I host a monthly show on 1020 Radio dedicated to experimental music - Hyperobjects - and I’ve performed many live coding gigs using TidalCycles. As an artist myself I have a unique perspective on what makes a piece of work sing, bringing this to collaborations with visual, media, and sculpture artists.

I have worked on projects for Monzo, Unlimited, Google Sustainability, Snapchat Lens Studio and Somerset House, and collaborated with award-winning artists such as Sebastian Koseda and Daisy Chambers-Dubus. I'm skilled at audio post-production and able to meet specifications to ensure a high standard, professional end product.
