Sebastian Koseda got in touch with me to provide sound design and music for his ongoing series of digital artworks, The Zoo of Extinct Animals. The project allows the audience to view and interact with extinct animals using augmented reality, while learning about the circumstances surrounding their extinction. The project was developed on Seb’s residency with Snapchat showcasing their Lens Studio tech.
The tragic, irreversible loss of wildlife is a topic close to my heart, and so far the Zoo has featured the Baiji River Dolphin and the Pyrennean Ibex (with Google Sustainability). The Zoo has been featured on CNN Edition and It’s Nice That! Magazine.
